I share with you my fondness of cemeteries, genealogy research and Memorial Art Photography.
Here you will find information about the cemeteries that I have explored, as well as headstone photographs that I have taken in the hope of sharing and preserving the genealogical information that they provide.

As a young girl, I preferred a walk in a cemetery to a walk in the park. I found 'graveyards' to be mysterious; almost magical places... venues of peace and comfort, yet touched by sadness and fear. As a curious child, I was fascinated by the names and dates carved in the stone, conjuring faces and lives to go with the inscriptions, feeling the energy left by those who rest there. Today as a Memorial Art photographer, historical & genealogical researcher, I still prefer a walk in a cemetery to a walk in the park; and have enjoyed the investigative thrill of genealogy & cemetery research for many years, converting my childhood interest from hobby to a second full-time career.
